The taste as a whole is more like coffee caramel than to say just caramel. On the puff dough which is not very thick but stiff, there are caramel chocolate coating and pieces of crushed almond above. The almond pieces are very crispy and have a good flavor. The caramel cream inside is surprisingly little, but creamy and rich. And because the puff dough is stiff enough so it keeps its shape even if there is a lot of airy space inside, that is good.
